He understands the Office of Grand Thesauristes requires outstanding leadership and communication skills – to ensure our financial information is well understood, organized and received in both a timely and accurate manner. It requires the ability to think both strategically and logically. He needs to be able to recognize both potential opportunities and potential dangers – with the capability to develop strategies that reduce risk for the Grand Boulé. He must be analytically strong – to be able to spot patterns and trends in financial data and then advise the Grand Boulé accordingly. He needs excellent problem-solving skills, technical expertise and – above all – integrity in everything he does. Archon Davis is a perfect fit for this role.

Meet Archon Davis
Archon Shaun M. Davis, CPA is the Managing Partner of S. Davis & Associates, P.A. (SDA) based in Hollywood, Florida. He’s passionate about his clients and the power of his organization - and he seeks to bring that same passion to the Grand Boulé as Grand Thesauristes. At SDA, he’s the driver of growth and innovation. A strong relationship builder. Family man. Sports fan.
Prior to launching SDA in 1991, Archon Davis was an audit manager at EY. He started his career at Deloitte and Touche and holds an accounting degree from Florida State University. He holds a Certified Public Accountant Certificate from the states of Florida and New York. Now SDA has over 50 employees in 3 office locations – proudly being recognized as one of the top African-American owned CPA firms in the southeast and a leading minority-owned business in Florida.

Archon Davis takes care of what he loves.
Archon Davis has been married to his business partner and the love of his life for 35 years. Archousa Tanya Ivy Davis is a fellow CPA, member of the Links, woman of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and mother. They have three grown, wonderful children located all across the country - in Los Angeles, Nashville and Philadelphia. They’ve also been blessed with their first grandchild and have another on the way!
As a member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church for over three decades, Archon Davis’ faith is extremely important to him - and he counts it as the reason he’s been blessed so much in life. He’s an avid racquetball player and new pickle ball player. Both he and Tanya love travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Born and raised in “money earning” Mount Vernon, New York, Archon Davis moved to South Florida after college. Like his wife, he’s also a member of the Divine Nine - Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. And finally, he’s especially passionate about college football - having served as the treasurer of the Orange Bowl Committee.
Throughout his life, Archon Davis has taken care of what he loves - and none would doubt how much he loves the Grand Boulé.
